Products purchased from Gosselin AND still covered by the manufacturer's warranty
We ship any product still under the manufacturer's warranty directly to the manufacturer's aproved workshops.
If the product was purchased from Gosselin, we will cover handling, shipping, and administrative charges related to the repairs. If it was purchased elsewhere, we charge a $40 fee to cover these costs.
Please note that the manufacturer's warranty never covers damages caused by water or sand infiltration, or by an impact.
Products purchased with a Gold Protection Plan from Gosselin
Damages not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, such as water and sand infiltration or an impact, are covered by Gosselin Gold Protection Plan.
We ship any product covered by the Gold Protection Plan at workshops aproved by the manufacturer for repairs. Gosselin covers all shipping, handling, and administrative fees related to this repair.
Products with an expired warranty
Products not covered by a warranty are sent to the best workshops for repair. A $40 fee is charged for a preliminary estimate. This fee will be deducted from the cost of repairs if the estimate is accepted; the fee will also be deducted if your equipment cannot be repaired at a price you find reasonable and you are buying a new camera from Gosselin instead.
In both cases, it takes between 4 to 6 weeks to receive the repaired equipment. This delay may vary with the availability of the parts needed.
Products that were not purchase from Gosselin
Products that were not purchase from Gosselin are sent to the best workshops for repair. If your product is still under warranty, you are responsible for bringing your proof of purchase and a $40 estimate fee will be charged. Please note that products purchased on websites such as Amazon may not always come from authorized resellers and that in this situation, warranties may not be honored by the suppliers.
