- Description: (This class is given in french) This course series is given in 2 parts. The first lesson is on the date and time indicated at registration and the subsequent lesson is given at the same time on the same day the following week.1 / Lesson 1: The basics. This course takes the time to demystify shutter speed, aperture and ISO sensitivity; in addition to controlling the entry of light, these three elements greatly influence the rendering of the image! We'll introduce the notion of exposure and how to correct it, ending with the use of the [P] Program mode, a perfectly controlled automatic mode. / Lesson 2: The different exposure systems, the histogram, the advanced modes. Continuing from the first lesson, we'll explain in detail the different exposure systems available on cameras these days (multizone, center-weighted, selective, and spot) and where each performs best. The histogram will also be discussed in detail (it is a shooting tool that should never be put aside!). We'll talk about the semi-automatic A (Av) ù Aperture Priority ù and S (Tv) ù Shutter Speed Priority ù modes, as well as manual use in some situations (if only in night, landscape and studio photography).
