NiSi GND filter: Uncompromising quality

What is a GND filter?
NiSi GND 100x150mm Nano IR filters are an indispensable tool for all landscape photographers.

These filters are made from high quality optical glass (no resin) with a Nano coating to avoid losing any detail.

The filters are designed with a dark area on the upper part to gradually balance the exposure of the skies.

Neutral density (ND) filters do not affect the colorimetry of the image.

These filters measure 100 x 150mm, they are compatible with the NiSi V5 PRO System 100mm, V2, V3, V5, V5 Alpha filter holder.

The degree of blockage of light is often mentioned in terms of the number of "stops" that the filter blocks. For each "stop" (IL Lumination Index) of blocked light, the exposure time doubles. Another terminology uses exponential values of the number "2" to reflect this principle. Yet another system that uses values of 0.3 to designate 1 stop blocking light. For example, a GND filter that blocks 2 stop light can be called a "2 stop" GND filter. Using alternative terminology, we can also call it a GND4 filter (2 ^ 2 = 4) or a GND 0.6 filter (0.3X2 = 0.6). This terminology also applies to ND (neutral density) filters.

The special coating Multilayer Nano IR minimizes unwanted reflections and gives the ND filters from NiSi, the characteristic of being hydrophobic and oleophobic.

Unique on the market: thanks to the absence of dominant color, you can finally say goodbye to color correction in post-production!
