The PAIR OF 15MM FEMALE-FEMALE RODS (8"), located at the front of the camera support, are used to attach a follow focus, a matte box or other accessories.
Both threaded ends are female and enable you to use either 4"or 6" rods (½-13").
The rods are made of lightweight hard anodized aluminum for strength and durability.
